Final, a stressful tale.

I'm not even off Thanksgiving break yet and I'm already having anxiety about my up coming finals. Finals are something we deal with every year since we started high school. But college is a whole new level of stress. You're grades and GPA aren't about getting into a good school anymore they're about what you're going to do THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. If that doesn't scare the snot out of you i don't know what would. First of all Im a terrible studier, I'm also the kid you probably hated in high school who never studied for anything but somehow managed to get a decent grade on the test. Now this was great in high school but its screwing me over in college. I never really learned how to study because i just didn't need to. Now however i need to. I was going to sit down and write you all a post about how to over come final stress and studying tips but lets be real i don't know how to myself and i suck at studying so... This post is me venting about how freaking stressed i am about my classes. I have 2 weeks till finals and let me just tell you these next two weeks will be nothing but me reading all the text books i neglected all semester and praying. A LOT of praying to the study gods that somehow i pass all my class
Peace Love and No stress,

Christmas in a Dorm Room

Now that Christmas time is upon us, it's hit me hard that I won't be home for most of the holiday season. I'll be spending much of my time this holiday season in my dorm room or in the library. I've decided though that no matter where I am i want to make my space a little more festive. So I'm here to give you some ideas on how to spruce up your dorm room or small apartment or even bedroom for Christmas time!

String of lights: I know many people have this all the time hanging around but I didn't bring them with me to my school. Since its a fire hazard to have them dangling, I plan on hanging mine around the perimeter of the room and over my bed (pictures of my own room to come when I get back to school)

Stockings: this sounds silly and obvious but it really adds spirit to full rooms, my roommate and I plan on hanjng ours on the outside of our door to give our room appeal from the hallway as well!

Small tree/ garland: personally my room isn't big enough for any size tree but it does have room for a bowl full of garland with ornaments throw in to make it look festive. This is a picture of my friends room who was able to fit a 6ft tree
You could also add any small decorations that don't take up too much space but make your room cozier for the winter season! Christmas scents also make rooms much more inviting and festive!!

Until next time
